As Ferris Bueller says “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it”. We’d like to bottle the vacation mode experience and live a little slower.
So, in our minds, we live somewhere else entirely — preferably under a striped cabana, cocktail in hand, being attended to by a very handsome cabana boy, with absolutely nowhere to be.
We are inspired by the women in Slim Aarons’ photographs: impossibly glamorous, effortlessly social, perfectly dressed, and living as though every Tuesday might turn into a fabulous afternoon by the pool. They understood that life was meant to be enjoyed — lunches that lingered, swims that turned into cocktails, friends who dropped by, and wardrobes that never met an occasion they couldn’t rise to.
That’s the world we like to imagine.
A little Palm Beach. A little Riviera. A lot of color, glamour, good taste and beautiful people doing beautiful things.
Because while real life may be busy, in our minds, the sun is always shining, the drinks are always cold, and someone handsome is bringing us another one.
